Went back to the astonishing Out Stack this afternoon. Visibility was much worse. A mere 20m or so. But at least we’ve worked out when slack is: about 30 minutes before we arrive on site.
Given the poor conditions, best to focus on the macro photography. Here are a few Shetland critters for you to identify. Answers on a postcard to House 12, Saxa Vord, Unst, Shetland:
(Clue: the top one is about 20cm long and is the mother of all nudibranches. It would have your arm off, given half a chance.)
